Just two reasons maybe grandpa shouldn't babysit:
1. The crankettes had to go outside to see "Randy The Garbageman" who is a rockstar to the crankettes. It was 28 degrees out and Grandpa Joe could not find a winter coat for the smallest crankette. In a panic to not miss Randy, GJ found a warm jacket in my car and a neck gator for a hat. The result:

Even Cole couldn't believe this outfit.
2. In retrospect this might not have been a good idea.
All's well that ends well! Don't tell my son or DIL. It can be our little secret.
Thanks,

Hey! Grandpas rock... at least, you guys get the job done. And usually have fun while doing it. (So do the kids!)
ReplyDeleteMy lips are sealed!!
ReplyDeleteomg, loved the keep him warm outfit. good job.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great memory for them. Are their lips sealed?
ReplyDeleteAh, they look so cute!
ReplyDeleteI think this looks like find grandparenting. But yes, perhaps best to keep it between grandkids and grandparents.
ReplyDeleteI've been in the UK too long! As soon as you mentioned 'Randy' the garbageman, your post was 'lost in translation'! crankettes, however, are asolutely adorable -- do they take after Grandpa, then?
ReplyDeleteHey! Good thing you realized watching Randy the Garbageman trumps fashion any day. Grandpas know these things. They also know it's okay to take a little spin down the hill in a wagon as long as you have a Santa hat to keep you safe.
ReplyDeleteCharlie was the garbageman our kids waited to see.
I saw shoes poking out. He knows how to dress, don't worry about that kid.
ReplyDeleteMaybe no points for style, but I somehow doubt the Crankettes care about such things. Looks like THEY had fun, and YOU had fun, so I'd say that was a successful day. ;)
ReplyDeleteS
Looks adorably warm to me!
