I knew I had a spare at home, but I couldn't find that either, so bought the new one and found the spare a day later. I don't wear it as much as I used to, I remember years ago wearing a watch almost 24 hours a day, taking it off only to shower. My dad had a waterproof one and wore it constantly, in the shower, swimming, I don't think he ever took it off.Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-968059214758329257.post-54895141496458319442015-12-22T23:09:46.831-05:002015-12-22T23:09:46.831-05:00Can't stand to wear any jewelry, not even a we...Can't stand to wear any jewelry, not even a wedding ring, so not wearing any watches here, though I'm never late anywhere :)

Bought a Minnie Mouse watch for son's step daughter for Christmas :)

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-968059214758329257.post-1399834065882777792015-12-22T21:27:30.872-05:002015-12-22T21:27:30.872-05:00My son has a nice one he bought himself. I saw a man not long ago, wearing a digital watch. Digital is so unusual I commented and his wife said they are hard to find and he owns two, in case one fails. On the rare day I leave home without mine I feel absolutely lost. I have two: a high end dressy one that I wear once in a blue moon, and an inexpensive Casio that I wear daily. The cheap one is reset automatically synced to that atomic clock in Colorado, and is powered by sunlight. How maintenance free can you get? :)

Nowadays high end watches are status symbols, and frankly not great timepieces. I personally can't imagine paying $5K or $10K for a watch, but many posers do. I'm beyond trying to impress anyone with a symbol of my pseudo-wealth (and stupidity).Lowandslowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08608734222483888884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-968059214758329257.post-62698627488444795312015-12-22T08:09:04.375-05:002015-12-22T08:09:04.375-05:00How i wish i could afford to get my watch going ag...How i wish i could afford to get my watch going again!
