She had the Tupperware bowls, salt and pepper shakers, and other dishes that we had when I was a child! My mom threw hers away long ago but my mother-in-law is just like your wife...she thinks you can't throw them away because they're Tupperware. They still make Tupperware but it isn't the same useful stuff that they had back in the 70s.Stephanie Farishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461865229341760836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-968059214758329257.post-48415324448364591742015-07-28T06:54:47.499-04:002015-07-28T06:54:47.499-04:00Been there and and done that and am now old enough...Been there and and done that and am now old enough to realise the error of my ways. He threw away a brand new slow cooker because I hadn't used it yet (it was a gift). But he kept the ceramic insert and just threw away the outside that functions to cook the food. No space was saved and once the children came along and our afternoons were taken up with sport, a slowcooker was necessary - so I went out and bought another one. AND we still have the ceramic bowl from the old one, which I never/rarely use. Your post reminds me of the daunting task of culling years' worth of stuff so we don't have to move it to the new house - thanks! ;)Shelly - Tropical Mumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00464868349672755774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-968059214758329257.post-12947360693705311732015-07-27T20:19:03.104-04:002015-07-27T20:19:03.104-04:00Ask her for whom she is keeping it.
